The Handmade Market welcomes back architect and metalsmith, Kathleen Dautel, of Spark Metal Studio. This Raleigh, North Carolina artist combines both her artistic passions to create beautifully simple, contemporary jewelry. Her material muses are steel, mild steel and resin. Each original design, inspired by nature or architectural lines, is laser cut and hand finished. Completed pieces are either plated in 18 karat gold or given pops of color using epoxy resin. The resulting jewelry pieces are modern as well as timeless accessories.
