Because Mall is a Four Letter Word

Huge Thank You’s to DECO raleigh, Retro Modern Furnishings and Traine

Meet the unsung heroes of Urban Vintage. That’s right! They may not get the top billing that the Handmaidens get for putting together Urban Vintage, but they are key players!

Traine-Logo-WebIf it were not for the generosity of the folks at Traine, there may not have even been a summer Urban Vintage! Traine is a new event venue that everyone in Raleigh should be excited about!

The venue is gorgeous. The staff at Traine are SO easy to work with. We feel at home here! This venue is going to be the next hot spot for weddings and social events. You need to check it out in person. Then go to their website and check out all their photos. You’ll be amazed at how they can change the look to suit your needs. We wish WE had the resources, time and space to set up a sweet lounge area out on the deck for Urban Vintage, like you’ll see in the photos. Be sure to check out everything Traine has to offer and tell your friends! Raleigh needs venues like this. We are thrilled to help showcase them.

DECO raleigh is our best friend! Every time we put together an event, they are the first to jump on board as a Master Sponsor. They are huge promoters of downtown Raleigh and small business. They have been partnering with us since they opened their doors in 2012. DECO-window-300If you need a gift for someone and cannot find it at DECO raleigh, then you’re not really looking! They carry the works of more than 60 local artisans.

And, have you seen the parklet just outside their door?  It was designed as a community effort among Deco Raleigh, faculty and students from the NCSU College of Design, and local businesses. What a great use of a parking spot. Check out raleigh [ ] space to learn how it came to be.

Retro Modern Furnishings is a great fit for Urban Vintage. What started as a love for interior design and repurposing neglected furniture,IMG_2698 has turned into a beautiful store front filled with much more. Retro Modern Furnishings celebrates designers of the past with their vintage finds and ‘designers of the future’ by carrying new home furnishings from local artists. They will be showing off a nice sample of what their store offers at Urban Vintage. So, you can check them out at the show on Friday and Saturday. Then when you’ve fallen in love with what they have, you can head to their Raleigh store anytime for more!

So help us say thank you to these awesome sponsors but taking a good look at what they offer and telling all your friends!
