Annette Demay from Antiques and Old Lace

Describe your style, and what you plan to bring. What are your bestsellers?:
Antiques and collectibles mixed with vintage holiday decorations

What are the things customers seek you out for?:
Whether you prefer a Victorian cottage or a rustic farmhouse style I have unique items for you.

How did you learn your craft or business?:
After many years of running an antique store and doing shows, I have moved to NC to be nearer to family. I have a booth at Reid’s Country Sampler in Selma NC. Also I have done a few flea markets and antique festivals in NC.

What is your favorite way to put yourself in the mood for creativity or business mode?:
I truly enjoy shopping at sales, flea markets, auctions, etc to find unique items. Luckily for my customers I can’t keep all of the items I have. Bringing practical and also some whimsical goods to market for others to appreciate as I have.

What advice would you give to an artist or business just starting out and/or what is the best advice you have received for your art or business?:
Once you have something you love doing that can also support you, be open to new opportunities.
