Thank you for making The Handmade Market a success!
With your help, our Charity Donation Drive raised over $1,400 for Hospice of Wake County, and the huge numbers of shoppers who turned out for the event meant for a busy day for all of our participating designers.
If you missed the event, don’t fret! We’re already busy planning our next event, so mark your calendar for another day of fabulous shopping in downtown Raleigh on May 3rd, 2008.
If you’re interested in being a part of the next Handmade Market, read more about the jury requirements and application process and sign up for our newsletter to be informed when the next Call for Vendors is released in Spring 2008.
The Handmade Market is today!
Come shop for fine art, apparel, jewelry, accessories, housewares, paper goods, and more from 50 of the best and brightest independent designers, artists, and crafters from NC and beyond. View the list of participating designers!
Join us at our new location! We’ve moved our show to Vintage 21′s new location in downtown Raleigh. The new venue is located at 117 S. West, between W. Morgan St. and W. Hargett St., next to the Buckhead Saloon. You may remember the space as the former location of Jillian’s nightclub.
Come early! The first 500 guests will receive a free goodie bag, courtesy of our friends at Ornamentea and Panopolie.
Make a donation to our charity raffle! There is no admission fee, but your suggested donation is welcome. Donations will benefit Hospice of Wake County, in memory of our friend and fellow artist Stephanie Acai, who lost her battle with brain cancer in 2006. In return for your donation, you will receive a raffle ticket for a chance to win a gift basket filled-to-the-brim with handcrafted goods donated by our Charity Sponsors.
