artist spotlight: judah ross
Apr 16th, 2012 by The Handmade Market
Oami Powers, the lovely genius behind local clothing label, Judah Ross, is returning to May’s Handmade Market with her dreamy natural and sustainable fabrics. What new and exciting pieces are you bringing to The Handmade Market this spring? My Spring 2012 collection! I have a feeling the Inca dresses are going to be a favorite, they are easy to dress up or down, comfortable, flattering and available in indigo or a stunning moss green (I have yet to see someone who is not flattered by this color, seriously, it’s awesome). What’s your favorite thing to make right now? Is it a top seller? How did you get started with your craft? What are the best and worst aspects of having your own small business? The worst is the long hours and the pay, the best is everything else! I love my job!! Which artist are you most excited to see at The Handmade Market? Two Pounds Mustard!! They sold out at the Boylan Art Walk before I could try some, so I’m going to get in line early this time. Gale or Peeta? What are your twitter and facebook names/links? http://www.facebook.com/JudahRoss The Handmade Market is on Saturday, May 12! Be sure to stop by Oami’s booth and drool (not literally, please) over her yummy fabrics and sexy designs. |
