Lark Studio is an eclectic collection of limited edition and one-of-a-kind handcrafted items for you and your home. This year Lark Studio has committed to using mainly reclaimed or recycled materials in all of our products. Dawn will be selling recycled notebooks & journals (made from original record album covers, discard game boards), holiday ornaments (made from reclaimed SCRABBLE tiles and chosen as one of Country Living Magazines favorite ornaments for 2009), pillows and other decorative housewares all made from vintage items.

What do you make, and what inspires you?
I like junk. Anything that has been discarded, especially when it is mass quantities, really  inspires me to figure out what can be made from it. I dabble in jewelry, textiles, paper – you name it!

What is your favorite spot or thing to do in Raleigh, Durham, and Chapel Hill?
I’m from out of town, so on the rare occasion I’m in Raleigh/Durham I’m amazed at where ever I am. I do have to admit that I have never been to Chapel Hill. Road trip anyone?

What music do you listen to while crafting or creating?
Anything upbeat. My current favorite is Fish Outta Water by Charli 2na
