Urban Vintage Spotlight: Wendell Antiques & More

Annette Pearce from Wendell Antiques & More

Describe your style, influences, inspiration, and what you plan to bring:
Friendly shop. I really appreciate the customers that come in whether they buy or not. My inspiration in the history each piece brings. I like to find new uses for old things. I plan on bringing vintage linens, mid century modern chairs, vintage cake plates, a 40’s lamp, suitcases and boxes.

Who are your style crushes/vintage icons/fashion muses, and why/how do they influence you?:
Farmhouse chic is a style a like. I come from farmers and they used everything they had to make their life easier. Their lives were not easy. All the pieces I have carry a story and history. I respect the people that came before me.

What are the things customers seek you out for?
I can not keep boxes in stock. They go out the door as soon as I get them. They are so versatile. Suitcases fall in that category too.

What’s your favorite thing about your city?

Where can customers usually shop your wares?
I have a brick & mortar business: 123 N. Main St. Wendell, NC
