Describe your style, influences, inspiration, and what you plan to bring:
I make graffiti and skateboarding inspired stencil art. I really look up to Paul Friedrich and Adam Peele and my Mom. My best sellers are my paintings of animals doing people things like a squirrel playing a banjo.
In your experience, what has been your best venue for selling your work:
I’m a kid so my best way to sell is in person. My Mom won’t let me use the computer so running an online store isn’t an option yet.
Which artist at The Handmade Market are you excited to see/meet?:
We have some friends vending like tiggyroad designs (I skateboard with her son sometimes) and bird and beau who is my cousin, so of course I’m excited to see them! I also excited to see emergolde because I still like cute stuffed animals.
What is your favorite way to put yourself in the mood for creativity?:
I usually like the music on. Sometimes I just listen to the entire starwars soundtrack.
What is the weirdest job you have ever had?:
The weirdest job I ever had was when my Mom made me clean the toilet.
What advice would you give to an artist just starting out and/or what is the best advice you have received for your art & business?:
Draw what you like.
What is the best comment or compliment you have ever received for your work?
Everyone is always surprised that I am the artist. Sometimes they really don’t believe me.
