Shop for top notch, drool worthy, curated vintage objects for the home and wardrobe this weekend, at Urban Vintage in downtown Raleigh. Shopping starts First Friday- August 7th and continues all day Saturday, August 8th.
Urban Vintage is an indoor (climate controlled) antique, retro, mid-century, industrial shopping event that will bring the best vintage goods and sought after rusty junk to Market Hall in City Market. For two days, the historic event space will be turned into a collector’s paradise. Urban Vintage is FREE and open to the public Friday, August 7th, 6:00 pm until 9:00 pm, and Saturday, August 8th, 10:00 am until 5:00 pm. There will be a cash bar Friday and Saturday, as well as other festivities in and around City Market throughout the city wide First Friday evening celebration.
Urban Vintage is local art and craft trailblazers, The Handmaiden’s, newest venture. This event answers the need for a more modern vintage shopping experience than other antique and home shows. With the current population increase and housing market explosion, homeowners are looking for unique found, historical and kitschy objects like the ones seen on trending designer TV shows and Pinterest boards. Collectors and shop owners from all over the United States were invited to apply throughout the summer. Vendors were hand selected with a concentration on bringing an assortment of mixed eras, price points and styles to downtown Raleigh.
Urban Vintage is supported by local sponsors DECO Raleigh, Suzanna’s Antiques, Lulu’s Vintage & Consignment and City Market. For more information about vendors, times and location, please visit the the Urban Vintage page
