Describe your style, influences, inspiration, and what you plan to bring:
I have been a thrift store junkie for over 17 years! As soon as I could drive, I’d go thrifting any chance I got. So often I would find amazing vintage pieces in thrift stores that were not my size or simply not my style. It was just too painful to leave them behind, so in 2009, I opened The Block Vintage on Etsy to share my finds with the world. More recently, I began participating in local vintage markets to sell my goods in person. I love meeting people who get excited about the same pieces as I do – it’s definitely the best part of getting out from behind the computer! My favorite styled decades are the 1960’s, 1970’s and 1990’s. Vintage t-shirts are one of my favorite things to hunt for and some of my biggest sellers!
Who are your style crushes/vintage icons/fashion muses, and why/how do they influence you?:
I have so many style crushes and vintage icons I can’t choose just one so I’m going to have to break it down. Currently I’m loving Selena Gomez, Zendaya and Bella Hadid. From the 1990’s – Winona Ryder, Lisa Bonet and Drew Barrymore. Going further back I love Jane Birkin and Brigitte Bardot.Who are your style crushes/vintage icons/fashion muses, and why/how do they influence you?:
