Artist Spotlight: Tagawa Collection

Asheboro based potter, Dawn Tagawa, is making her Handmade Market debut this November 12th. She’ll be bringing her freehand carved, hand made, wheel turned pieces and we’re happy to have her!

What are you bringing to The Handmade Market on November 12? Anything new and exciting?
Abstract free-hand carved pottery and some gorgeous new twice-fired glazes.

What is the best online resource that you’ve used for your business? (accounting software, marketing blog, etc.)
I’ve received more orders from my Facebook artist page this season than anywhere else!

What is your favorite fall comfort food? Can you share a link to a recipe or restaurant that serves it up?
Oh my goodness, I just made Bob’s Red Mill vegi soup mix and I added salt, pepper, paprika, a little red pepper and a dash of poultry seasoning. It was SO good!

What is the best concert(s) you’ve ever attended?
I went to the r.Evolution Music Festival on the north end at Carolina Beach not too long ago with belly & fire dancers, a drum circle, and great bands. It was a beautiful experience.

Are you on Pinterest? Provide a link to your boards if so!
I just checked that out! That is an awesome website!

Jon Stewart or Stephen Colbert?
Do I have to pick? How about Josh & Chuck from Stuff You Should Know?!

Be sure to visit Dawn’s booth at The Handmade Market on Saturday, November 12.
