Join us tomorrow from 7 pm to 9 pm at Market Hall in downtown Raleigh’s City Market for a jam-packed evening of shopping with more than 50 independent artists, designers and makers from all around the city, state, and region! It’s the perfect time and place to kick off your holiday shopping! This Early Bird Shopping Event is for two hours for just $5 (cash only). You get an entire quiet, laid-back 120 minutes to browse and chat with the artists and get first dibs on all of their beautiful handmade wares. The first 50 early birds will receive a lovely Handmade Market notebook. The bar (yes, we will have wine and local beer for the very first time ever) will be open and Elizabeth Galecke will be setting up a small photo booth inside to do head shots.
At 10 am the following morning until 5 pm that evening, admission to The Handmade Market is free!!! The first 200 shoppers will receive a lovely Handmade Market notebook to help organize all those holiday lists. In lieu of admission, consider supporting the featured charity, Activate Good, with a raffle ticket purchase. Your donation gets you a chance to win one of several gift baskets full of goodies from our awesomely generous Charity Sponsors.
You know what else we’ll have on hand? Homemade treats and coffee from Brachi and Larry’s Beans. Good Grace’s Dog Treats will be there selling snacks for your four-legged loved ones as well.
And that’s not all — Brandon Whitesell ( from Porch Light Apothecary, Alpha Cop, Onlooker who also bears a striking resemblance to Niles Crane) will be working the stereo and providing a mix of tunes throughout the day. You don’t want to miss this one — grab a friend and come down to Market Hall for The Handmade Market!
